BREAKING: Two Dead After PokoPoko Bus Crash in Mubende
Easter Sunday turned tragic for travellers in Mubende
Dozens of others were left injured, some critically, and rushed to Mubende Regional Referral Hospital

At least two people have died after a PokoPoko company bus suffered a tyre burst and overturned along the Mubende–Fort Portal road on Sunday evening.

The bus, registration number UBR 796N, lost control after one of its front tyres burst, veered off the road, and overturned, killing two passengers on the spot.

Dozens of others were left injured, some critically, and rushed to Mubende Regional Referral Hospital.

Rescue efforts are still underway as police struggle to retrieve bodies trapped under the wreckage.
