Woman Found Dead in Newly-Established Kamuli Guest House
Preliminary findings indicate that the Savannah Guest House had been operational for only a week and lacked proper systems for registering its clients, as required by law.
Kamuli Police have apprehended the manager of Savannah Guest House, Joseph Takayuuka, following the discovery of a deceased female client on the premises.
The incident occurred in Gabula-Kitimbo Zone, Kasoigo Ward, Northern Division, Kamuli Municipality.
According to Busoga North Police spokesperson Michael Kasadha, the lifeless body of the unidentified woman was discovered on January 11, 2025, at around 8am.
Police received a tip about the death and immediately launched an investigation into the matter.

The arrest of the guest house manager is intended to aid in gathering critical information regarding the incident.
Police are urging members of the public with information about the deceased or the circumstances surrounding her death to come forward.
