Tayebwa asks families to plan for generational wealth

The Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Thomas Tayebwa, has challenged  families to plan for generational wealth.

Mr Tayebwa was the chief mourner on Friday in Ntungamo village Nyakabirizi Bushenyi district at the official sendoff of Obadiah Ntebekeine Rushambuza Igara Bushenyi's Ugandan tycoon who died in Nairobi.

"Obadiah's father Zabrone Rushambuza was a wealthy man, so has been his son and so should be his children and his children's children, we need to plan for generational wealth," Tayebwa said.

Tayebwa, who hails from Greater Bushenyi, acknowledges renowned families  that have maintained their name in the world of business.

"Bushenyi has for a long time been known for having wealthy families who have invested in health, business, education and no doubt, Ugandans have benefited, I feel proud my mother or relative getting treatment KIU hospital Ishikawa, a private entity for Hassan Basajjabalaba," Tayebwa said.

"So let wealth not end with you when you die, I know Obadiah's children and have been well prepared so there won't be poverty in Obadiah's home so everyone here go and prepare your home for generational wealth."

Obadiah Ntebekeine Rushambuza was a renowned successful businessman whose family owns quality supermarkets in Kampala. Ntebekeine was the husband of Sheema North Member of Parliament Naomi Kibaaju.
