The Creative Arts Conference is part of Purple Skills Klinic Foundation's ongoing efforts to empower creatives in the region by equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to elevate their careers.
The Assistant Livestock Development Officer at NAADS Dr. Kiyini Robert Lule told Daily Express that the total number to be distributed is 500 heifers which will be given out per constituency in Busoga. He says 250 heifers were delivered today and the remaining ones will be delivered as this week closes.
Eight children in total underwent these life-saving procedures between Monday and Wednesday, all performed free of charge. The surgeries were a collaborative effort between the Uganda Heart Institute and Jinja Regional Referral Hospital, marking a significant step towards decentralizing critical heart care services.
