"Katanga told me someone was tracking him through the phone and emails and was accessing his confidential information," Kajura testified. "He was worried about his privacy and security."
The IT expert explained that he installed multiple layers of security on Katanga's phone to thwart any potential surveillance efforts. However, Katanga requested that Kajura remove the passwords from his phone on 1st Nov 2023, stating that the passwords were making it difficult to operate his phone.
Kajura did not implicate any of the accused persons in the hacking, he also denied any knowledge of the accused persons including Molly Katanga, alias A1.
The Defence team did not cross-examine the witness.
The trial has been adjourned until Monday, July 15, when the prosecution is expected to present additional witnesses.
