Caf said the group stages of both competitions will run from late November to January, with the knockout phase beginning in February 2027.

The finals of the Caf Champions League and Caf Confederation Cup are scheduled to be played between May 9 and May 31, 2027.

CAF also confirmed that prize money remains unchanged, with the Champions League winners set to receive $6 million (about Shs22.2 billion) and the Confederation Cup champions @4 million (about Shs14.8 billion).

The announcement gives both Vipers and Kitara several weeks to strengthen their squads and finalise preparations ahead of the preliminary-round draw, which is expected before the September kick-off.
