Mungu Feni Officiates Eid Tournament Finals in Arua, Donates Shs2M

Businessman and philanthropist Feni Ben, popularly known as Mungu Feni and Director of Euro Gold Refinery SMC Ltd and Mungufeni Foundation, yesterday officiated at the Eid Tournament Finals held at Arua Primary School grounds.

The 12-day tournament, which brought together 16 teams, concluded on 20th March 2026 during Eid ul-Fitr celebrations. The annual event is organized to foster unity among communities in Arua City through sports.

Now in its 15th year, this year’s tournament also focused on supporting vulnerable communities, with donations made during the holy month of Ramadan.

Speaking as Guest of Honor, Mungu Feni applauded the organizers and the Muslim community for the initiative.

He urged residents of Arua to embrace teamwork, promote peace, and encouraged the youth to focus on hard work rather than engaging in unproductive activities.

He further pledged continued support for similar sporting initiatives, noting that they align with the vision of Euro Gold Refinery SMC Ltd and Mungufeni Foundation. He also made a startup contribution of shs 2 million towards future activities.
