In a thrilling celebration of Ugandan digital culture, the much-anticipated #TweepsVsTiktokers football rematch lit up the Yes Arena in Nsambya, with the Tweeps once again edging out the TikTokers in a hard-fought 1–0 victory.
The match, which sparked widespread online buzz and drew an energetic crowd to the stadium, was broadcast live on NBS Sport, with NextCom serving as the official communications partner.
The game began on a poignant note, as both teams observed a moment of silence in honour of the late photographer Saad Shots, in a powerful and emotional tribute held in front of his young son—an act that underscored the sense of community and respect shared among Uganda’s creative circles.
Team Tweeps, led by the charismatic Soosi, claimed victory through disciplined defending and a standout performance by goalkeeper Patrick, who kept a clean sheet and earned the Best Goalkeeper award.

The winning goal came courtesy of Reecy, whose attacking brilliance proved decisive. On the other end, Nishata Aksam led the charge for the TikTokers with constant offensive pressure. Despite a spirited second-half push from TikTok captain Mickey Seems Too Funny, the TikTokers were unable to breach the Tweeps’ resilient backline.
