Buwekula Ssaza Head, Andrew Mukasa, has officially unveiled the management team for the 2025 Massaza football tournament.
The event took place at the Buwekula Ssaza headquarters in Kaweeri, East Division, Mubende Municipality, with 22 members entrusted to lead the team towards winning this year's Massaza Cup.
Key appointments include Hajji Rajab Ssebulime, who has been retained as team manager for the fourth consecutive year, Richard Kassumba as Ssaza Chairperson, Simon Peter Babuumba as Vice Chairperson, Joseph Kyambadde as CEO, and John Sheema as Treasurer.
The Technical and Medical departments are headed by Patrick Bayiwa and Hakim Bukenya, respectively.
Mukasa emphasized discipline and teamwork, urging leaders and supporters to stay focused as they aim for the first-ever Massaza Cup victory.
Ssebulime, expressing confidence, pledged his full commitment to the team's success.
Kassumba highlighted the team's strong record and the talent they have sourced, while Ismael Ssegawa, a supporter and MP aspirant, called for increased support from local funders.
In the 2024 season, Buwekula finished in 3rd place after losing to Kaggwe in the semifinals.
