Their dedication to learning and personal growth embodies the essence of Next Media—a place where leadership, innovation, and creativity.

Excellence at Next Media isn’t just an aspiration but rather company culture. As Makerere University marked its 75th Graduation Ceremony this week from January 13th to 17th, 2024, several outstanding individuals from the media powerhouse were among the number of graduates.

These exceptional professionals have made and continue to significantly contribute to Uganda’s media landscape, excelling in their respective roles at Next Media, while constantly raising the bar.

Among the distinguished graduates were celebrated NBS TV Senior Journalist, Show Host, and News Anchor Mildred Tuhaise; Angella Najuuko, People and Culture Officer; Richard Ndagije, Online Sub Editor; Bashir Omar, Digital Officer Cynthia Agaba, Digital Officer; Adrian Bakuwamma, Tom Kakyomya and many more.

They each completed their academic journeys in diverse fields, from Master’s degrees in Human Resource Management, Strategic and Corporate Management to Bachelor’s degrees in Information Systems, Journalism and Communication respectively.
