The handover ceremony, held on Tuesday, 13th May 2025, brought together key district leaders, including the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, Principal Human Resource Officer, Assistant District Health Officer for Environmental Health, District Auditor, Chief Finance Officer, and the Principal Assistant Secretary.

Outgoing Acting DHO Timothy Teko expressed both pride and relief during the ceremony.

“It has been an honor to serve this district in an acting capacity for all these years. While the challenges were many, I am proud of the resilience we’ve shown. I now hand over with confidence, knowing the health sector is in capable hands,” he said.
