The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Electoral Commission has convened a critical meeting aimed at streamlining the party’s structures from the village level all the way to the national leadership.

Speaking during the session, NRM Electoral Commission Chairperson Tanga Odoi highlighted a number of persistent challenges that continue to undermine the credibility of the party’s internal electoral processes.

As the NRM prepares for its internal elections, the Commission has emphasised the need for transparency, discipline, and adherence to party guidelines to ensure credible and fair outcomes.
