Events promoter Balaam Barugahare has hit back at Mukono Municipality Member of Parliament (MP) Betty Nambooze, saying that she is a 'political piglet' that eats from every plate.

Balaam was on the receiving end on Tuesday evening as Nambooze gave him a baptism of fire on his maiden appearance on NBS Television's Barometer political show.

The Mukono Municipality lawmaker, who doubles a panelist on the show called Balaam a 'useful idiot' who is being used by National Resistance Movement and President Yoweri Museveni, to confuse Ugandans.

Nambooze also made sure that Balaam doesn't respond to her on the show and asked the moderater, Zambaali Bulasio Mukasa, to end the show.

In a separate interview with NBS UNCUT however, Balaam has said that Nambooze is also a political piglet who never settles in one political camp.

"We have many political piglets and Nambooze is one of them. They eat from every plate. This year she's yellow, then next year she's in green and today she is in red. She's a political piglet," Balaam said.

Balaam urged the National Unity Platform (NUP) president Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu where Nambooze registered as a member to be careful be careful while dealing with her.

Balaam said, "My brother Robert Kyagulanyi of People Power, just know that I have footage of eight of the eleven people that joined you recently. I have the video that shows them signing for their money from my boss (Museveni)."

In her argument, Nambooze said that people like Balaam are paid to join the side of the oppressors to support a cause that they don't even know about.
