Shahata ready for Mukura visit

Gicumbi FC midfielder Ssekabembe Shahata is ready to face Mukura FC as the Rwanda National Football League continues this weekend.

Gicumbi hosts Mukura tomorrow at the Stade Mumena in Kigali as Nduwantare Jean Mari Vianney's men search for a first win this season.

Gicumbi are currently bottom of the Rwandan League standings after failing to find footing in their first three fixtures – they lost 2-0 to Marines in the opener before falling 1-0 and 3-2 to Muhanga and Police respectively.

Ssekabembe Shahata, a GK football Academy graduate joined Gicumbi FC at the start of this season. Although he faced a few challenges while trying to join the neighboring Rwandan league, the midfielder has already found the back of the net once, which was in their last game away to Police which they lost 3-2.
