Rema Namakula's kukyala set for today

Musician Rema Namakula's kukyala is set for today, October 9 at her parent's home in Bukoto.

As the country commemorates 57 years of independence, the 'Sili Muyembe' singer will be seeking to formalize her new relationship with a one Dr Hamza Sebunya that the public first became aware of in September this year.

Pictures flooded social media last month suggesting a possible private family visit, locally called kukyala but the Nile Post has since established that the couple will be officially holding this visit on Independence day ahead of their introduction that is slated for November 14 at Nabbingo, Wakiso district.

Speaking to NBS Television's most authoritative news bulletin, NBS UNCUT, Rema's uncle who preferred to remain anonymous said that he doesn't know anything about the said visit but asked that NBS tries to verify with Rema's aunt. UNCUT was able to establish that the family wanted the visit to be a private affair with the attention from the media.

Several socialites and scribes in the entertainment circles have already received their invitation cards to the fast approaching introduction ceremony in November.

Sources close to the musician also suggest that Rema is already pregnant.
