Pepsi injects Shs4bn in new ‘Tuconectinge’ promotion

Crown Beverages Limited under their flagship soft drink, Pepsi have launched a new campaign dubbed ‘Tuconectinge’ in which they have sunk a whooping shs4 billion.

The new promotion will run for four month until July.

Speaking at the launch of the promotion at their headquarters in Kampala, Pepsi CEO, Paddy Muramira said as part of their efforts to connect people with their loved ones, the new promotion will see lucky customers rewarded in pairs.

“In the past five years, we have injected over shs20 billion in changing lives of customers. The new ‘Tuconectinge’ promotion has seen the company inject shs4 billion to continue with our goal of changing lives,”Muramira said.

“Like in the recent ‘Twangula’ promotion, the winners of the vans have been able to use them for transport purposes and in turn earn some money that enables them look after their families.”

According to Isaac Ssekasi, the head of marketing at Crown Beverages Limited, the new four month promotion will be targeting the Easter, Eid and Martyrs day celebrations and will close in July.

John Blaq unveiled

At the function singer, John Blaq, real names John Kasadha was unveiled as a brand ambassador for Pepsi at their headquarters.

The beverage company named their new promotion after Blaq’s signature song ‘Tuconectinge’.

The rising star better known for his signature line ‘Aya bass’ will now market the company as part of his contract.

How to win

A customer is asked to buy two bottles of the company’s drinks and check under the crowns before sending the two codes to 7888 and choose a partner of their choice who will also be required to send the same codes to the number.

According officials from the company, lucky customers will win Toyota Wish vehicles and fridges among other prizes.
