NRM CEC visits sugar factory in Nwoya

Members of the NRM Central Executive Committee (CEC) today morning visited Bukona sugar factory and distillery in Nwoya as part of the follow up on NRM 2016 manifesto.

During the visit, Prime Minister Dr. Ruhankana Rugunda and the CEC members expressed satisfaction with the project and promised to extend electricity from national grid to support industrialisation in the region.

Rugunda promised full support to the factory which has created over 150 jobs to both the skilled and unskilled market.

After the visit, the CEC members headed back to Chobe Safari Lodge for the last day of the retreat which is chaired by the NRM chairman, Yoweri Museveni.
