Vipers send out six players on loan as Madoi is released

Kitende based Vipers Sports Club have sent six players to various clubs on loan, the Nile Post has learnt.

The Uganda Premier League defending champions announced the move on Wednesday saying they had sent out Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye, Ndizeye Sefu, Dickens Okwir, Fred Okot, Davis Kasirye and Noah Wafula on loan.

The club announced that Tumwesigye has been sent on loan to Wankulukuku side Express FC in order for the youngster to get more playing time up to the end of this season.

“The midfielder is a joy to watch; his ball distribution, mobility and dribbling skills are exceptional and would hurt any opponent without a doubt but  has failed to make a mark and challenge fellow midfielders like Moses Waiswa,Tom Masiko, Brian Nkuubi, Rahmat Ssenfuka, Duncan Sseninde and Abraham Ndugwa,”the club said on the website.

The midfielder who joined the team last season from their academy has made only two appearances this season for the Venoms.

“On that background, coach Michael Nam Ouma believes it will be a disservice to keep him yet his chances would be limited.”

Meanwhile, the Kitende-based side has also released left back Aggrey Madoi after his contract expired.

Madoi joined Vipers from Fufa Big League outfit Jinja Municipal Council (JMC Hippos) in 2015/16 season and went out on loan to Police FC before returning to Kitende last August.

He has been linked with a move to Tusker FC from Kenya among other clubs.
