The Masindi District National Resistance Movement (NRM) Registrar, Moses Ogwang, has called on residents to rally behind the party’s flag bearers as the campaign season gains momentum.
Ogwang made the appeal during the launch of Bujenje County MP Hon. Kiiza Kenneth Nyendwoha’s campaign in Bulima Town Council, where he emphasised the need for unity within the party to sustain what he described as the gains achieved under NRM leadership.
He noted that the government has implemented several projects in Masindi and Bujenje County, arguing that continued support for NRM leaders would safeguard ongoing development and ensure improved service delivery.
“NRM operates like a chain. For effective service delivery, every link must be strong,” Ogwang told the gathering, urging residents to consolidate the party’s structures through their vote.
Addressing supporters, Hon. Nyendwoha expressed gratitude for the continued support and assured the people of Bujenje that more development initiatives are in the pipeline. He pledged to prioritize community needs and work closely with local leaders to advance service delivery.
Masindi LCV NRM flag bearer Godfrey Byarugaba, who joined Nyendwoha at the campaign launch, also encouraged the people of Bulima Town Council to vote NRM candidates at all levels. He noted that aligned leadership would ease coordination and accelerate development programmes across the district.
The event attracted several local council chairpersons from Bujenje County, NRM leaders, and community members who turned up in support of the candidates.
