The Democratic Front (DF) has launched its campaign to mobilise voter support in Lubaga Division, marking the official start of its efforts to popularize the party and introduce its candidates to the electorate.
The party’s Treasurer, Abed Bwanika, presided over the launch and unveiled the party’s flag bearers in differrent position in Lubaga and other areas, he asked party supporters to support its grassroots mobilisation.
He emphasised that DF is fully prepared to compete for political positions across all levels, having assembled a team of committed and well-prepared leaders.
“Based on the quality of leaders we have presented, we are confident of winning in these positions’’ Bwanika said. He adds that in the past term, many people entered Parliament without adequate preparation, that’s why DF is determined to ensure that all their candidates are well-grounded and capable of delivering quality leadership.
The launch event in Lubaga drew aspiring candidates ranging from councillors to Members of Parliament, as the party declared its readiness to engage voters throughout the division.
Bwanika and other party officials urged supporters not to focus solely on party symbols but to consider the competence and integrity of the candidates being presented. “Our focus is on the quality of leadership, not just political labels,” he added.
Members of Parliament’s vote-hunting campaign officially kicked off this week countrywide.
Party officials say their key priorities include improving health and education services, promoting youth employment, and advancing good governance through accountable leadership at all levels.
