All set for Mafu Mafu fundraising rally

Tanzanian rally driver Tufail Amin arrived in the country today afternoon to take part in the Mafu Mafu fundraising rally set for November 25 at Busiika Motorsports Arena.

Amin was received at Entebbe airport by 20 drivers who will take part in the rally.

The rally is aimed at fundraising for Ponsiano Lwakataka to acquire the Subaru N12B for the next season. Lwakataka will go head to head with Amin in the double sprint.

Rwakataka has raised nearly half of the Shs 300 million needed to buy the vehicle. He hopes to raise the remainder through this rally. Most of the money has been raised by his supporters.

Ahead of the rally, Lwakataka said this time the people will decide who is a better rally.
