First Deputy Prime Minister and Kamuli District Woman Member of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga, has officially declared her intention to seek re-election to the parliamentary seat she has held for over three decades.

Kadaga picked nomination forms from the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Electoral Commission headquarters in Kampala, signaling her readiness to contest in the party primaries ahead of the 2026 general elections.
