“Many small business owners in Mityana are struggling in silence,” Ntegyereje said after his victory.

“As chairperson, I want to be their voice to push for better support systems, accessible finance, and more opportunities for growth.”

He emphasized that the district’s business community is beset by persistent challenges including limited access to credit, poor market connectivity, inadequate technical skills, and exclusion from policy-making processes.

“These problems are real and have stifled the potential of entrepreneurs across our sub-counties,” he noted.

“I will serve as a bridge between business owners and key institutions government, financial bodies, and development partners to ensure our people are heard and supported.”

Ntegyereje's track record includes mobilizing small businesses, mentoring start-ups through his cOmpany and connecting local producers with viable markets and cooperatives. This grassroots engagement earned him trust both in the entrepreneurial circles and within the NRM’s political ranks.

His campaign stood out for its focus on economic empowerment as a foundation for sustainable political support.

He urged the NRM to integrate entrepreneurship into its grassroots strategies, arguing that improving livelihoods is key to solidifying political structures.

“We cannot talk about mobilization without addressing people’s livelihoods,” Ntegyereje said. “When communities are economically secure, they are more invested in political participation and national development.”

He outlined plans to introduce quarterly business forums, advocate for capital injection into start-ups, strengthen cooperatives, and initiate regular capacity-building programs for traders, artisans, and local producers.

With the 2026 general elections on the horizon, his leadership is expected to rejuvenate the NRM’s relationship with the private sector in Mityana.

His commitment to dialogue, innovation, and inclusive development positions the Entrepreneurs League as a key driver in both economic growth and political mobilization.

Ntegyereje now takes on the responsibility of ensuring that entrepreneurs across Mityana District not only survive but thrive.
