Archbishop Kazimba Pays Tribute to Pope Francis
The Argentine pontiff has been recovering in hospital from pneumonia, after he was admitted on 14 February.
Pope Francis died on Easter Monday.

The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Dr.Samuel Kazimba Mugalu has paid tribute to Pope Francis, the leader of the Roman Catholic Church who died on Monday.

In his tribute, Archbishop Kaziimba condoled with Catholics and believers all over the world for the loss of the great leader of the church.

He reminisced the Pope’s work in Uganda.

As we prepare for the celebration of the Ugandan Martyrs, we especially remember the Pope's visit to Uganda in 2015 and his appreciation for the Uganda Martyrs Museum at the Anglican site in Namugongo. During Pope Francis’ visit to the Uganda Martyrs Museum, he unveiled a dedication stone and offered a prayer that the Uganda Martyrs would continue to inspire generations of youth to follow Christ,” Archbishop Kazimba said.
