"Humanity is key, but our people have become increasingly divided based on political parties, causing unnecessary separation among families and friends which is not good," said Walusimbi.

He called on the people to prioritize unity and long-term community development over short-term political affiliations.

"You should avoid being taken over by these political parties. They always come and go; one day you might not see them anymore. This should not be the end of the world. But our unity as a people should remain steadfast," Walusimbi emphasized.

Walusimbi’s visit also marked the launch of a large-scale coffee nursery bed project aimed at boosting economic growth in the region.

The project introduced 300,000 coffee seedlings to support farmers in Singo, enabling them to improve their livelihoods through commercial coffee farming.

Encouraging the community to embrace the project, he advised them to form cooperative groups to maximize their financial benefits from coffee growing.

The initiative was spearheaded by Godfrey Kiwanda Suubi, the NRM chairperson in Buganda and founder of the coffee nursery bed project.

Kiwanda echoed the call for unity and economic empowerment through agriculture.

"We are encouraging the people of Singo and the surrounding areas to heed the Kabaka’s call to engage in coffee farming as a way of boosting their daily income," Kiwanda stated.

He further assured farmers that high-quality coffee seedlings would be available at subsidized prices to encourage broader participation in the sector.

This initiative is expected to enhance economic well-being and foster unity among the people of Singo, regardless of their political affiliations.
