The Defense and Internal Affairs Committee's planned benchmarking trip to Kenya has been postponed until the processing of the new UPDF bill is complete.

The committee was initially scheduled to embark on a 10-day trip to Kenya, yesterday,  Saturday.

According to a committee member, they have been directed to wait until the bill has been processed and passed.

As the committee responsible for processing the bill, they will report to Parliament once it's complete.
