Dr. Kizza Besigye’s lawyer, Erias Lukwago, has dismissed remarks by Information Minister Dr. Chris Baryomunsi regarding Besigye’s legal battles, urging him to focus on his ministry instead of interfering in legal matters.
Baryomunsi had suggested that Besigye’s legal team was engaging in political theatrics rather than genuine legal action. In response, Lukwago questioned what more they were expected to do beyond following due process.

“I would rather Minister Chris Baryomunsi concentrate on medical issues and let the lawyers do their work,” he added.
