70-Year-Old Man Killed in Nabilatuk Motorcycle Accident
A 70-year-old man has died after being hit by a speeding motorcycle in Nabilatuk District.
The victim, Michael Nadio, was reportedly crossing the road when the accident occurred along the Magoro-Lolachat road in Natirae Sub County.
The motorcycle rider, Michael Lochi, a 20-year-old student at Lolachat Seed Secondary School, sustained serious injuries and has been hospitalized.
Police have cautioned riders against reckless riding, emphasizing the dangers posed to pedestrians and other road users.
Karamoja Police Spokesperson Mike Longole confirmed that investigations are ongoing to establish further details of the incident.
“We urge all road users to exercise caution and adhere to traffic regulations to prevent such tragic incidents,” Longole said.
