Minister Aber Distributes 595 Iron Sheets to Kitgum’s Vulnerable Communities

The Minister of State for Disaster Preparedness,Relief, and Refugees Lillian Aber has handed over 595 iron sheets to assist four institutions and vulnerable communities in Kitgum District.
The recipients include St. Mary's CC Matidi, which received 115 iron sheets, Cam Cam Chapel with 70 iron sheets, Ocekutte COU benefiting from 120 iron sheets, and Kitgum Women’s Group, which was allocated 290 iron sheets.
The delivery of the iron sheets is part of ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and provide vital support to local communities in need.
"Through the Office of the Prime Minister, I have handed over 595 iron sheets to support four institutions and vulnerable communities in Kitgum District," Aber stated on X, underscoring the importance of these initiatives for community welfare.
This action is aimed at strengthening the region's resilience and fostering sustainable development.
The iron sheets will be used to support construction and repair projects, directly benefiting local institutions and enhancing living conditions for the vulnerable populations in Kitgum.
