Traffic disrupted as fuel tanker catches fire along Mityana road

A fuel tanker caught fire this morning on the Mityana-Kampala road near Kiwawu tea estate, causing significant traffic disruption. The blaze has blocked half of the road, making it impassable.

“We urge motorists to exercise patience and follow the instructions of traffic officers as efforts continue to clear the road,” said SP Kananura Michael, spokesperson for the Directorate of Traffic and Road Safety.
