Kale Kayihura skips court, case adjourned to 1st October

Former Inspector General of Police Kale Kayihura has not appeared in the General Court Martial on Tuesday morning as expected.

General Kayihura's lawyers on Monday made a plea to the court to adjourn his mentions to 1st October and this plea was granted.

General Kayihura is supposed to report to army court every first Monday of the month as part of his bail conditions.

General Kayihura's lawyers made a plea to the court headed by Lt. General Andrew Gutti to grant the general permission to travel to Nairobi to seek specialised treatment.

Ellison Karuhanga , one of Kayihura's legal representatives, says that Kayihura will be back in court from October 01 to answer whatever charges maybe brought against him.
