Masindi Stanbic Bank Manager Dies After Bathroom Collapse
Hilda Rwabugaya, the Stanbic Bank Masindi branch manager, died on Thursday morning reportedly after collapsing in her bathroom.
The manager of Stanbic Bank Masindi Branch, Hilda Rwabugaya, passed away on Thursday morning after collapsing in her bathroom.
Ms Rwabugaya, who had worked at Stanbic Bank for 17 years and managed the Masindi branch for three, was found unconscious at her residence in Masindi town.
Neighbours rushed her to Supreme Medical Centre, where doctors referred her to Kitara Medical Centre.
She was pronounced dead upon arrival at around 9am.
Albertine Region Police spokesperson Julius Hakiza confirmed the incident, stating that a postmortem will determine the cause of death.
Stanbic Bank's communication manager, Kenneth Agutamba, described Rwabugaya as a hardworking and dedicated employee.
"This is a great loss to the Stanbic family. We are in touch with her family to finalize burial arrangements," he said.
Rwabugaya’s body remains at Kitara Medical Centre as investigations continue.
