Police in the western district of Bushenyi are investigating the circumstances under which a 54-year-old businessman died in a lodge.
Isaac Ruhigwa Atwine, from Bwegiragye Cell in Ishaka Division, was found dead yesterday at the Deluxe Hotel in Kizinda under mysterious circumstances.
Atwine, who operated a retail shop in Bushenyi town, was discovered by hotel staff.
Senior Superintendent Tumusiime Marcial, the spokesperson for Greater Bushenyi Police, confirmed that investigations are underway to ascertain the cause of death.
"We are awaiting the post-mortem results, and no possibilities have been ruled out," he stated.
