This hosting is part of the rotational sittings held by the Assembly to deepen, widen, and tighten the community.

And this time, we shall be here from 20th October to 12th November 2024".

She encouraged those who are not busy with committee work or voter engagements to come to the gallery and observe the proceedings, promising to accord the visiting members the best hospitality.

The EALA's rotational sittings aim to foster regional integration and cooperation among East African countries.

The Assembly's membership comprises elected representatives from Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, South Sudan, Rwanda, and Burundi.

During their stay in Uganda, the EALA members are expected to engage in various activities, including plenary sessions, committee meetings, and outreach programs.
