NRM’s Namayanja advocates for youth investment in small businesses
Ms Namayanja urged the youth to remember that their current choices will shape the future

The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Deputy Secretary General, Rose Namayanja Nsereko has urged youth leaders to focus on personal growth and economic well-being.

Speaking to over 400 young leaders in Bukakala village, Nakaseke District, on August 29, she stressed that their current choices will shape their future.

Namayanja highlighted government efforts like the Parish Development Model and Emyooga, which allocate 30% of funds for youth investment.

She assured continued support for launching small businesses and innovative ideas.

She encouraged unity in embracing government programs to uplift communities from poverty, regardless of political affiliation.

RDC Nakaseke Rosemary Byabashaija emphasized that poverty alleviation programs aim to support vulnerable Ugandans, warning against extortion and unauthorized fees.

She assured that any misconduct would be investigated.

The event concluded with Nicholas Brain from Wakyato Parish expressing gratitude to Namayanja and urging peers to engage in national initiatives for a better future.
