Movers ask Speaker Among to consider censure motion or they report to Museveni
The movers and seconders of the motion seeking to impeach the four embattled commissioners of Parliament have asked Speaker Anita Among to comply with the law and put the matter on the order paper for debate and voting.
Addressing the media on Friday evening, Theodore Ssekikubo and colleagues disclosed that the Clerk to Parliament had confirmed the dissemination of the censure motion to the Speaker, as required by the rules of procedure.

"We have done our part, and now it's up to the Speaker to comply with the law," Ssekikubo said.
"We urge her to urgently put this matter on the order paper, failure of which we will ask the President to dissolve the 11th Parliament."
The movers and seconders also revealed that they had acquired more evidence incriminating the four embattled commissioners.
"We have enough evidence to pin them down, and we are confident that our colleagues will do the right thing," Ssekikubo said.
They also demanded that the public be allowed to witness the proceedings of the House during the debate.
"We want the public to see how their representatives cleanse corruption out of Parliament," MP Odria Arion said.
The movers and seconders have given the Speaker 10 days to consider the motion, warning that failure to do so will lead to drastic action.
"We will not hesitate to ask the President to dissolve this Parliament if the Speaker does not comply with the law," Arion warned.
The four embattled commissioners face allegations of corruption and misconduct, prompting the movers and seconders to seek their impeachment.
The matter has sparked intense debate in Parliament, with some MPs supporting the censure motion while others oppose it.
