The National Unity Platform (NUP) principal, Mr Robert Kyagulanyi, has warned the party supporters against treachery and collusion with tormentors in the ruling National Resistance Movement government.

Kyagulanyi, aka Bobi Wine, made the warning at Kabembe Village in Kyampisi Sub-county, Mukono when he called on the families of Mohamed Kanatta and Tadeo Yuda Sempijja, who were kidnapped four years ago.

“I'm reliably informed that some of you have started conniving with tormentors who kidnapped our brothers Sempijja and Kanatta, please don't welcome such people in leadership,” said Kyagulanyi.

Ms Betty Nastaziya Nabakooza, mother of Sempijja, said they have searched several detention centres across the country in vain.

She wants the government to produce Sempijja dead or alive.

Sempijja, who was a taxi driver, was the sole breadwinner to his four children and his parents.

The responsibility now on the shoulder of Ms Martha Nakyanzi, his elder sister who is a casual labourer.

Nakyanzi said their loved one was kidnapped in broad daylight in Kabembe trading centre at a place installed with CCTV cameras  but they are shocked by the lack of evidence.

Kyagulanyi laso criticised the government for arresting NUP supporters for their dress codes. He wondered about security's "barbaric" acts of breaking into people’s homes and businesses in the name of cracking down on army uniforms.

The NUP president assured Nabakooza that his party will not give up until its people are produced by the regime.
