The Executive Director  of Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), Ms Dorothy Kisaka, has said corruption among different departments at the Authority is on the rise.

“Many of you pretend to be working in those offices yet you don’t, some are corrupt, we have forgotten the mandate of the ruling party NRM which is service delivery,” says Kisaka.

She was speaking during a staff engagement on Monday.

However, Ms Kisaka added that despite the gaps in KCCA like the unending potholes in different roads in Kampala, the authority has achieved a number of things especially in physical planning and infrastructure.

The Deputy Executive Director, David Luyimbazi, reminded KCCA workers that they won’t be in those offices forever urging them to deliver results and work deliberately for the well being of the people.

"Some of you respond rudely to people when the come for services, all for what ??? And after you Bragg how you work for kcca, be humble and work for the betterment of the people because we are paid via there taxes," Luyimbazi said.

The staff engagement involved KCCA workers from all the five divisions of Kampala.
