In a significant stride towards recognizing and promoting female leadership within law enforcement, the Department of Gender and Women Affairs unveiled the inaugural edition of the Women Police Magazine.

The launch ceremony took place Wednesday at the Police's Logistics and Engineering Directorate Headquarters in Kampala.

Deputy Director, Human Resource Development, SCP Anne Tusiime, presided over the auspicious event, commending the dedicated efforts of the team behind the creation of the magazine.

SCP Tusiime underscored the importance of fostering a supportive environment among officers, emphasizing the need for gender effectiveness and sensitivity in daily duties to enhance service delivery.

"The launch of the Women Police Magazine signifies a monumental step towards recognizing and celebrating the invaluable contributions of female officers in law enforcement," Tusiime said.
