Uganda's anti-corruption court has acquitted all co-defendants of Minister Mary Goretti Kitutu in a Shs. 1.5 billion mismanagement case. This leaves Kitutu as the sole defendant facing charges related to the alleged misuse of funds for Karamoja peace-building materials.

The acquittals include Geoffrey Sseremba (Accounting Officer), Deogratius Masagazi (Undersecretary), and Tracy Atuhiirwe (Accountant).

This development adds to Kitutu's existing legal woes, as she already faces charges in a separate "iron-sheet (Mabaati) Scandal."
