Salam TV Uganda celebrated a resounding victory at the prestigious Muslim Channel Awards, winning in the Islamic trade and culture category.

The event, dedicated to honoring those who champion Islamic values, saw Salam TV Uganda and its affiliates clinching top honors, underscoring their significant contributions to the Muslim community.

Salam TV Uganda secured two prizes, solidifying its position as a pioneer in Islamic media.

Salam Charity, a key partner of Salam TV Uganda, also received two honors for its humanitarian efforts. Their commitment to uplifting vulnerable communities exemplified the principles of compassion and generosity inherent in Islamic teachings, garnering praise and admiration.

The award for Best Muslim Journalists celebrated the exemplary work of Salam TV journalists Abdussalaam Ali Kinobe, Ibrahim Ali Kasujja, and Twaha Mukiibi, recognizing their integrity and diligence in disseminating accurate news within the Muslim community.

Hajj Karim Kaliisa, the General Manager of Salam TV Uganda and Salam Charity Foundation, was honored for his outstanding leadership.
