Uganda names squad for Woodball World Cup
The technical committee of the Uganda Woodball Federation named the 16 players that will represent Uganda at the 8th edition of the Woodball World Cup in Thailand.
The world showpiece is scheduled to kick start on July 24-29 , 2018.

Uganda's participation in this year's world cup will mark her fifth straight competitive show as earlier it took part in the Thailand 2010, Malaysia 2012, China 2014, and Korea in 2016.
However, some of omitted players have expressed their dissatisfaction about the team that was called citing favouritism that still runs within the federation.
"I am not the best but I now believe truth doesn't exist", a one Byamukama started while expressing his disappointment of the list.
He added: "I am happy for those that made it to the list but still not satisfied . Favours still run within the federation something that will kill fresh talents and old talents."
The selected 16 players will commence their training on Saturday 2, June at Namboole stadium.

Aritho Isaac, Bukenya Godfrey, Ssensalo Charles, Mugume Watson, Gwaaka Brian Kibuule Francis, Towong Geoffrey and Atamba Onesmus.
Women
Mukoova Joan, Nalubega Joyce, Zawedde Lilian, Namuddu Sophia, Nagaba Charity, Nambeguya Elizabeth, Mukoya Florence and Nanjeru Denise Pulkenia.
