Uganda has today celebrated the 42nd Tarehe Sita in Mbarara where the President Yoweri Museveni was the chief guest.

Museveni receives the Order of Katonga Star, the highest military decoration of the Ugandan Honours while first lady Janet Museveni cheers. He is dressed by Chief Justice Owiny-Dollo. Museveni led the struggle from the 1970s until its successful conclusion in 1986.
