Ministers, government agencies to account to nation in Manifesto week

Cabinet has announced the the National Resistance Movement (NRM) manifesto week to take stock and popularize the achievements of Government towards the realization of the Manifesto Commitments will be marked from 12th to 19th May, 2018.

According to ICT Minister and cabinet spokesperson, Frank Tumwebaze,  all Ministers will be expected to lead their sectors in briefing the Press on specific Manifesto commitments achieved under their dockets.

The office of the President celebrates the Manifesto Week every year in May with activities geared towards taking stock of the cumulative milestones and achievements of the Government

Among the key activities to kick start the Manifesto Week 2018 is having Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies make presentations to the Public on what they have done this far. This gives the media an opportunity to ask the hard questions.

Uganda Media will play host of the manifesto week activities.
