Tanzanian Socialite, Swedish artiste Avicii: Born same date, die same date

While the world mourned Swedish musician and DJ Tim Bergling alias Avicii on Friday April 20, Popular video queen and Tanzania socialite Agnes Gerald, alias Masogange, also breathed her last.

Avicii was found dead on Friday afternoon in Muscat, Oman according to his publicist who stated: “It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii," read the statement. “The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given.”

Masogange succumbed to Pneumonia the same afternoon while receiving treatment at Mama Ngoma hospital at Mwenge in Kinondoni Municipality.

What is more shocking about the two personalities is they died around the same time, having been born on the same day.

Avicii was born  on September 8, 1989 in Stockholm, Sweden, while the Tanzania vixen was born September 8, 1989 in Dar es salaam.
