Following Kitara fc third consecutive loss, the management has come and assured their fans that they have realised their gaps and they are going to use the internal break to fix them so that they shine again with their next figure being on 18th october 2024 with Mbarara city FC in Kakyeka stadium.
The club president has also declared that in their gate collections against police fc, they got shs 21,826,000 which money they will use to support the club activities.
In a statement released by Kitara fc club president, Deo Kasozi, he notes that with concern that it is ashaming that they have the best players but they continue losing matches.
"Kitara football club yesterday lost its third consecutive Uganda premier league fixture against police fc by a goal to Nil. It should be recalled that we won 3:0 against Lugazi in our opening fixtures, Kitara fc management has noted with concern the poor performance of the club despite the strengthening of the squad which we undertook in the transfer window" The statement from Deo Kasozi reads
He however says both players, coach and management are aware of the need to regain the club winning tactics.
"Our players, coaches and the entire technical team are aware of the need to regain our winning ways. Our technical team identified gaps that will urgently be fixed in order to improve on the team's performance.
We assure our fans, supporters and all stakeholders that we shall soon bounce back strongly. Be firm" The statement further states
Kasozi says despite the poor performance in the last three matches, they continue to receive massive support from all their fans, leaders, the media, sponsors and partners appreciating their patience.
"We wish to declare that we realised twenty one million, eight hundred twenty six thousand shillings (shs 21,826,000) from gate collections, this money will be used in supporting the club activities as planned in our 2024/2025 budget"
Kasozi reminded their fans that they will have their next fixture with Mbarara city fc on the 18th october 2024 at Kakyeka stadium in Mbarara a match that will decide for Kitara whether they will be competitive this season or not.
