Lady, don't open for him your 'bible' on the first date

Let's Talk About Sex

Love still exists. Fairytales still exist. There are still butterflies in your stomach, ready to do their thing when the right person walks up to you to ask you out. Your soulmate is still out there waiting on you.

Humanity has watered-down love. People meet in the morning and declare love in the evening. The next morning after having you all night, they will block you, and onto the next, they go.

This is no longer a gender thing. Men have taught women so well that some women have no problem using them. One-night stands used to be for men, but women have mastered it so well that they ask for it.

People have given up on love. People have given up on dating. Someone walks up to you and the only thing running in your head is how long it will take you to get naked with them.

There is no chase anymore. Women used to love the chase. They used to crave for someone willing to bench them for months before they even exchanged numbers.

The thrill of someone stalking another is all gone. People open their legs faster than they breathe. Where is the love? Where is the heart in all this? Are we just going through life?

How many people are married to their soulmates? How patient are you willing to be to let your soulmate find you? Is there a way to believe in love again?

The love for sex and money replaced the love of the heart. The Titanic kind of love where you were sure someone is willing to die for another is no more.

People no longer ask if it's okay to wait to have sex until they are married. Even when they allow waiting with one person, they hit it somewhere else. Courtship for marriage is no more. They meet today and start discussing marriage the next month.

Are you married because he comes from a good family? What happens when money and fame are taken from your partner's life? Would you stay?

Would you still declare love if things turned around and you had to care for everything they do now?

People stare at others in the night and wish them death. People have declared war against partners they swore to love for better, for worse.

Legs can't be the only thing you bring to the table. Stop offering legs at every turn. People lay each other and can't even remember the other person's name. We must close the legs and ask what the heart wants.

Love can't come after sex. No. Learn to be patient. Learn to ask questions before and not after you have undressed. Let's close our legs and get to know our heritages before we walk around like scandals.

Let's give love a chance. Let's stop looking at sex as a way to anyone's heart. Invest in knowing your person. We can't have broken hearts and legs.

Till next time, let love lead the way.
