Kenyan CDF feared dead in helicopter crash

The Chief of Defence Forces for Kenya, Gen Francis Omondi Ogolla, is feared dead after a helicopter in which he was flying crashed.
According to Kenyan media, the helicopter crashed and caught fire on Thursday in Sindar area on the border of West Pokot and Elgeyo Marakwet counties.

The Daily Nation quoted police as saying five occupants of the chopper have died while three have survived.
The three survivors have been airlifted by a second KDF aircraft, the newspaper's website said.
However, no official report has been made in regards the whereabouts of Gen Ogolla, who is said to have been aboard the ill-fated chopper.
The identities of the three survivors have also not been revealed to the media.
