Singer Priscilla Zawedde, also known as Azawi, has urged President Museveni to adopt a more relaxed lifestyle for the sake of his longevity.
Azawi believes that Museveni could benefit from emulating his Rwandan counterpart, Paul Kagame, who frequently participates in sports events and music concerts.
The Swangz Avenue artist remarked that engaging in such activities would help the President connect better with the youth.
"I have seen President Kagame attend attend sports games, concerts etc which connects him to the youth even more but our man dem is too serious with life and leadership," Azawi posted on X (formerly Twitter).
"I believe that shit can shorten your life man, he needs to loosen up. He needs to pick a leaf from that Kagame." she added.
Museveni is not known for attending music concerts or sports events. The few occasions he has been seen at such events were in 2018 during Bebe Cool's "Golden Heart" concert at Kololo Independence Grounds and in 2019 at Catherine Kusasira’s concert at Serena Hotel in Kampala.
Since then, he has rarely been spotted at musical events.
In contrast, Kagame has been actively involved in both sports and music. Just last night, he and First Lady Jeannette Kagame attended the Move Afrika Concert, featuring EGOT-winning artist John Legend, alongside thousands of music fans.
He has also recently participated in several sports events in Rwanda.
