This initiative addresses the longstanding scarcity of clean water in the area, where residents have been forced to share water sources with animals from a local dam. Local leaders expressed their gratitude for the project, underscoring the importance of access to clean water for the community's health and well-being.

Hon. Bata Kamateneti encouraged the local population to take ownership of and maintain the facility with care. She reaffirmed her commitment to collaborating with the government and utilising her local and international connections to promote development in the Ntungamo district.
